While many things stand the test of time, Internet is one of those places, where development takes place at a rapid pace. Our national Contact Points are the link between the programme and the regions. They follow projects closely to share/spread project results and to communicate the benefits of cross-border cooperation. A while back we introduced you to our national Contact Point network trough a campaign called "Contact Points in spotlight". Update on 31 January 2020: The statistics for the fifth call have been published.

The fifth call for project applications closed on 15.10.2019. After that, assessments have been ongoing at the Joint Secretariat, and on 29-30 January 2020 the Steering Committee, consisting of the Central Baltic Member State representatives, took funding decisions on projects.

The following 20 projects have been approved for funding:
  • Sustainable biogas
  • BE the future

Monitoring Committee meeting

The Central Baltic programme's Monitoring Committee met in Riga on 12 November to discuss the programme. During the meeting, programme staff gave an update on the current state of affairs. Next programming period, here we come

At the moment 57 projects are implementing, with new projects still starting next year (69 applications in the fifth call). While supporting current projects and helping approved ones to start, we have also adjusted the focus of our binoculars towards the future.

Our member states have given us green light to begin programming for the Post 2020 period. Arrangements have started and we will inform through our channels, when new information is available. ... Read more
