Programme area
The programme area consists of parts of Finland (incl. Åland), Sweden and Latvia as well as all of Estonia.
The four programme priorities are the same for all regions. However, some specific objectives are directed towards certain areas (e.g. urban areas or remote archipelago areas). The specifications are described in the Programme Manual.
The geographical setup of the project partnership defines which one of the three sub-programmes the project will be implemented under. The geographical definitions with maps of the sub-programmes are found via the left-hand menu. The programme area is divided into core and additional areas. The benefit of a funded project should come mainly to the core programme area and, therefore, at least one partner in each project must come from the core area.
