The Programme Steering Committee will take decisions on the 2nd call project applications in their meeting on 28-29 January.

The names of the small projects approved for funding as well as the regular projects approved to continue to the 2nd step application phase will be published on this programme website right after the meeting ends on 29 January.

The second call for applications closed on 23 October resulting in 148 new project applications. Out of these 110 were so called 1st-step applications of the regular projects and 38 were applying for a small project. In total 112 million euros ERDF were applied for in this call. The programme has 115 million euros to allocate during the whole programme period, out of which 48 millions (41%) were allocated to succesful projects in the first call. There are nearly 800 partners involved in the submitted applications covering the whole programme region.

The call for applications has closed

The second call for new project applications has closed. In due time 148 project applications were submitted, out of which 110 are regular project and 38 small project applications. The division between Priorities and Specific Objectives is presented below.

More statistics about the applications will be published next week. All applicants will also later be contacted with a possibility to provide feedback on the application procedures as well as needed and received support services.

The noted slowness of the eMS is caused by too many PDFs being generated in the system. The users now finalising their applications in the system are asked to wait while a pdf is being generated. ... Read more
The programme Steering Committee has taken decisions on the regular project applications submitted in the first call. The approved projects (including the previously approved small projects) will be allocated in total 47.6 million euros (41 %) out of the 115 million ERDF available in the programme. The average total budget of the approved regular projects was 1.7 million euros, ranging from 0.5 to 3.9 million euros. The average ERDF budget of the now approved projects was 1.3 million euros.

The Programme Steering Committee will soon take decisions on the project applications submitted in the 2nd step of the first call in their meeting on 25-26 August.

The names of the projects approved for funding will be published on this programme website right after the meeting ends on the 26 August. During the following days the approved projects will be contacted by the Joint Secretariat about the following steps. The rejected projects will also be contacted by the JS with clarifications for the rejection. ... Read more
The Steering Committee minutes were officially approved last week. The minutes contain the reasons for rejecting projects. The official decision on rejecting the project applications will be prepared and sent out during this week. Projects that need to receive feedback on the rejection reasons earlier may contact the Project Managers/Coordinator. ... Read more
The applicants are eagerly waiting for more information on their submitted project applications and the next steps. Currently, the Steering Committee decisions are being finalised by the approval process of the meeting minutes. The next steps for the applicants are the following. ... Read more
The programme Steering Committee approved 52 (29%) of the 177 project applications submitted in the first call for applications. Out of the approved projects 45 were regular projects approved to continue to the 2nd step application phase and 7 were small projects that will start their implementation once they have fulfilled any conditions set to them and after signing the subsidy contract with the programme.
