Creating the final event photo exhibition has been much like building a puzzle; To make the big picture, all of the smaller pieces need to go together just the right way. Here’s a short update about current proceedings of our ‘puzzle’.

At the beginning of this summer, five students from Liepaja arrived in Rauma for a work-based learning (WBL) period as part of the Finlat-Logic project funded by Central Baltic programme. The aim of the project is to align parts of WBL curricula of VET programmes of logistics, and to promote partnerships between educational institutions and companies in the Baltic Sea region. The project partners are National Centre for Education of Latvia, Länsirannikon Koulutus Oy WinNova, and Liepaja State Technical School.

Prep is now running in high gear, and we are happy to announce that the Central Baltic 2014-2020 Programme's photo exhibition is taking place between October-November in cities around the programme area. Again, one great project from the 2014-2020 period is nearing its end. SME Aisle – aiming to boost the export of maritime clusters into new markets – is holding their final seminar on 26 April. During the seminar SME Aisle discusses their key activities, successes and shares their experiences. A look towards the future is also included.

The COVID-19 situation is developing and in many cases, restrictions have been largely lifted. Thus, we are learning to work in a new reality where face-to-face meetings, online meetings and different hybrid events will alternate. 
 
We wish to highlight to our projects that in case of future hybrid events, where online participation is voluntary, rather than imposed by restrictions, it is allowed to provide catering only for persons who participate face-to-face.

Thematic fields which will continue in Central Baltic 2021-2027 programme were discussed in the Annual Event „Bridging the borders and funding periods - results and glimpses towards the future” in September 2021.
