IVY at the Central Baltic programme: one initiative two point of views

Friday, December 8, 2017 - 13:48
A few days ago, Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) Sofia Castoldi, published a blog post on the IVY website in which she tells about her experience as Interreg volunteer at the Central Baltic programme. In the post, she writes about how much the programme and the projects she had the opportunity of getting to know better, thought her about the Central Baltic region.

The beautiful places she discovered are only part of the experience though: during her time in Turku, Sofia learned more about the meaning of cross-border cooperation and about the fact that behind all the bureaucracy that an EU-funded project entails, there are concrete benefits into local people’s lives.

On the same day, Central Baltic Communication Manager Ari Brozinski, also published on the IVY blog his thoughts about the experience from the programme point of view. In his post, he writes about how he got acquainted with the IVY initiative as well as about the concrete benefits that Sofia brought to the programme.
