The Central Baltic Programme 2014-2020 finances result orientated cross-border cooperation projects in Estonia, Finland (incl Åland), Latvia and Sweden

The Monitoring Committee met last week

Tuesday, November 21, 2017 - 13:36
Last week, between 13-14 November, the Central Baltic programme’s Monitoring Committee (MC) gathered near Tallinn in Estonia. The meeting started with a visit to the NATTOURS project site, where we walked along a new boardwalk constructed by the project in Paljassaare. In Paljassaare we discovered a natural pearl within an urban environment.

During the meeting, we discussed the current development of the programme and the state-of-play. We also reflected on the third call on which the Steering Committee will take decision in a little more than a week (for regular projects). One of the more important decisions made during the meeting, was the approval of our annual work plan that details the work we are doing in 2018. Finally, the next programming period was discussed as well and a strong commitment to Interreg was expressed.

The next Monitoring Committee meeting will take place in spring between 17-18 April.
