The Steering Committee took decisions on the 2nd call applications at the end of January. In total the programme received 148 applications in the call, out of which 38 were applying for small and 110 regular projects.
The small projects apply in a one-step process and 7 applications (18 %) were now approved for funding. It is notable that majority of the small project applications are submitted to the Priority 4 and Specific Objective 4.1. which is only open for small projects. For the regular projects the application process is divided into two steps, and 21 applications (19 %) were now given green light to continue to the second phase. The second step applications will be submitted to the programme by 1 April and taken final decisions on in June.
The success rate of applications varied between 11-50% in the four Priorities, between 0-50% in the eleven Specific Objectives and between 10-42% in the three sub-programmes.
