The Joint Programming Committee met again
Monday, July 5, 2021 - 09:29
The Joint Programming Committee (JPC) met online on July 1 to discuss the final wordings of the programme document for the 2021-2027 period. The discussions continued on issues raised in the public hearings. During the day, the JPC came to a conclusion on all open issues.
The next step is for each participating Member State’s government to approve the programme document. This is referred to as the national approval process and it will take approximately three months. Once the Member States have formally approved the document, it will be submitted to the Commission and the first call can be announced. The preparations are now made for a first call deadline in early 2022.
We recommend everyone to read the latest available draft of the programme – a version that was available for the public hearing. Although this is not a final version, it gives potential applicants a fair understanding of the common challenges identified for the Central Baltic region, and the Programme Objectives within which projects will be funded.
In the autumn we will give further information on the timetable and tips for planning your project.
