To go far – go together

Thursday, September 21, 2017 - 08:32

Today, on 20 September, we are thrilled to meet you all who are interested in European territorial cooperation, in Mariehamn. We are more than 150 registered participants, and this includes nearly 40 of our projects. We are coming together to share, experience and learn for two days.

Activities start the Alandica convention center in Mariehamn on Wednesday afternoon. During the first day, we celebrate the European Cooperation Day, and this part in open for all interested, also local residents. We will talk, taste, listen, and enjoy for a couple of hours inside and outside Alandica. As for the programme, there will be music, snacks, project presentations, dance, some local harvest festival products for sale and something to take part in – just the right surroundings for networking and learning. We will also vote for our favorite in the ECDay photo competition.

Following the theme for the European Cooperation Day  this year “To go far – go together”, we will visit three locations on the Åland main island by bus 16:15/16:30, where Central Baltic projects make a difference.

There are 9 Central Baltic projects active on Åland at the moment, and more to come.

The day is concluded with a networking dinner for our Annual Event participants.

21 September is dedicated to our Annual Event. During the Annual Event, we provide insights into our four priorities, discuss the current status of the programme, communication and cooperation by sharing experiences.

Welcome!
