Further steps taken for preparing the new Programme
Thursday, May 27, 2021 - 12:27
Designing the new Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 requires dedication of all Joint Programming Committee (JPC) members to best meet the needs of our region.
In its 7th meeting held on 26 May 2021, the JPC members continued the fine-tuning of the future programme document. The Committee devoted a full day to thoroughly analyse and agree on the Joint Secretariat’s responses to the comments received from the public hearing process on the future programme draft. In addition, the meeting agenda included the presentation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment report presented by the experts. After its official approval, we will publish the report on the website.
We would like to thank everyone once again for taking action as public hearing and involvement are very important in shaping the new programme, as the active discussion that accompanied the JPC’s meeting demonstrated as well.
Next, the public hearing feedback will be thoroughly refined, after which we can share the file with all comments and answers.
Based on the public hearing results, the final wording of the programme may change. Therefore, we encourage you to get acquainted with the current programme draft and reserve some time in early July to be sure that your project idea supports the programme content which will be the final draft proposed for the national approvals.
The JPC meeting was chaired by Latvia. The next meeting will be held in the beginning of July.
