Wednesday, December 13, 2017 - 16:25
How do you grow digital presence and increase engagement with different stakeholders? How do you remain relevant and communicate results? These questions, as well as tips and tricks on how to improve project communication were the center of attention when 11 representatives from 8 Central Baltic projects participated in a network meeting arranged in Stockholm by the Swedish Contact Points.

On 28 November, Swedish Central Baltic Contact Points organized a networking and communication workshop for the Swedish Project Partners. The project network meetings are aimed at providing Swedish lead partners, project partners and associated partners with an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas, and  provide them with know-how aimed at improving project communications.

This time social media and communication of project results was the event focus. Lydia Kellam, a renowned social media and communication expert, facilitated a workshop on tips and tricks to reach relevant audiences and create meaningful content.

"Content is king, but context is God", Lydia said. She explained that how and what you share in your social media channels is the key to your engagement with your target groups.
The participants also got to know different useful methods to boost the digital presence and plan digital campaigns, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

"To us, most of this is new and this has been a real eye-opener", said one of the participants. "These network meetings are a great occasion for us to gain practical skills, as well meet and network with other Central Baltic projects".

The meeting ended with an experience exchange session during which projects shared their views on collaboration and project communication with examples of lessons learned.
