Description of the project idea: 
The objective of Project is to develop and test the innovative technology of oil and sand traps for the reduction of hazardous substances and toxins inflows into the Baltic Sea, incl.: - testing new oil and sand trap technologies that will reduce amount of hazardous substances and toxins that reach Baltic Sea from stormwater/drainage outflows; - testing and applying new digital technologies in order to monitor water quality in near real time and to collect data - raising awareness and know-how about the technology among other local governments and other actors in the participating countries
