We warmly invite you to join us online for the Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 Launch Event on 15 November.

In this event, we hope to celebrate together with you that the new programme document is ready and approved by the participating countries. In the next seven years, the Central Baltic Programme will invest 118 million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in high-quality projects that aim at solving common challenges together and across borders.

We can now say that the implementation of the Central Baltic programme has started for the period 2021-2027.

What does this mean – because you may remember that the programme document draft is currently in national approval processes in each of the governments of our countries. Well, it means that we have employed people for the period 2021-2027, they have had two weeks of training and introduction and they are now starting to work at full speed.

The Joint Programming Committee (JPC) met online on July 1 to discuss the final wordings of the programme document for the 2021-2027 period. The discussions continued on issues raised in the public hearings. During the day, the JPC came to a conclusion on all open issues.

The programming period 2021-2027 is almost ready to be kicked off. Although we are already in the year 2021 the regulations for this period haven’t yet been approved. That also means that the programme documents cannot be finalised yet. First impressions from public hearings

Tuesday, 13 April, 2021
The public hearing process on the Central Baltic programme for 2021-2027 has been closed. During the last two months we’ve invited stakeholders to read and comment the draft content. We received 49 replies to our online survey. Some replies covered several regions or respondents, so the number of involved people has been much larger. We got replies from all programme countries. 
 
Currently our programming team is going through the replies. Each comment will be considered and replied to. We’re producing a document where all the comments and replies will be visible. ... Read more
The Central Baltic Programme gathered more than 600 participants to public hearing webinars in Finland, Sweden, Åland, Estonia and Latvia. In the webinars, our colleagues presented the programme draft for the next period and the Strategic Environmental Assessment report.
