Update on 31 January 2020: The statistics for the fifth call have been published.

The fifth call for project applications closed on 15.10.2019. After that, assessments have been ongoing at the Joint Secretariat, and on 29-30 January 2020 the Steering Committee, consisting of the Central Baltic Member State representatives, took funding decisions on projects.

The following 20 projects have been approved for funding:

​The fifth call has closed

Tuesday, 15 October, 2019
The fifth call closed at 15:00 EEST today. In total, we received 69 application in all priorities. There were 62 applications for regular projects and 7 for small projects. A more detailed statistical overview is available in our documents section.

We will now begin assessment of the applications. Assessment will continue into December and funding decisions will be available in January (we will inform about the exact date). Earliest project start is on 1 February 2020.

The interest towards the programme has been very high; potential applicants are busily working with their project applications in the eMS. There is limited time left for finalising the project applications, and we expect a majority of them to be submitted during next week (the call closes on 15 October,  15:00 Finnish time (EEST).

The 5th call Project Applicant Seminar was organised by the Central Baltic programme last 11. June in Riga.

All together 91 participants took place in the seminar and many potential applicants received consultations from the Central Baltic staff.
