MC-SC-MC meeting in Tallin

Between 8-9 March 2023, the official bodies for both periods met in Tallinn to review the 2014-2020 programme and to have a look into the current future of the 2021-2027 programme. Over the two days, we heard interesting insights from those involved in evaluating the programme, programme staff, projects and those who partook in project activities. In addition, a look towards the future was cast by fresh 2021-2027 projects. We want to warmly thank all participants for joining the celebration of the past (and new) programming period.

New results! We have published more than 10 new results from the 2014-2020 programme.

Exhibitions are open

We're finally there! Starting today, our final event photo exhibitions are open in Helsinki and Tallinn. Tomorrow, they are followed by Mariehamn and Riga. Next week Stockholm opens along with another location in Helsinki. Exciting times!

Gastrotourism for thriving islands

Project EPIG (Educating Professionals on Islands in GastroTourism) has partners from two islands – Åland Vocational School on Åland and Kuressaare Regional Training Center on Saaremaa (Estonia). Together the partners developed a gastrotourism study programme for vocational education. The curriculum includes five learning modules needed for preparing the students and enterprises for a new trend in tourism and restaurant industry that combines pleasure of travelling and eating. The essence of gastrotourism is to have a story to tell and to offer high quality local food. ... Read more

Creating the final event photo exhibition has been much like building a puzzle; To make the big picture, all of the smaller pieces need to go together just the right way. Here’s a short update about current proceedings of our ‘puzzle’.
